A word from Gus: I had spent my entire life from when I was 8 years old to my late twenties riding my snowboard. And then suddenly it was over. I lost all my sponsors and at a loss for what to do next I put myself to the task of writing an album. I dedicated nearly every waking hour of everyday for 5 years to writing this 26 minutes long album. It was a transitional period for me. The death of my old self and the transfiguration into the new.
